We are a custom builder in Oro-Medonte township with over 19 years of experience building homes of excellence in Simcoe County and beyond.
We are a framing contractor with over 29 years of experience framing custom homes and accessory buildings.
We have an excellent reputation for construction quality that surpasses the Ontario Building Code
We have an extraordinary repertoire of highly skilled sub-contractors who are dedicated to the same excellence in workmanship standards that we hold ourselves to and that we have built close professional and accommodating relationships with over many years of experience cooperating together

The People
Growing up, Jack Andrews loved to build things. He enjoyed working with his grandfather building homes from start to finish and all the while, learning many tricks of the trade and mastering his carpentry skills. By 1987, he decided to venture out on his own starting his sole proprietorship business as a framing contractor.
Fast forward 10 years, the business was expanding and the time was right to incorporate to include general contracting as another service he was excited to offer. Since 1997 (the year of our incorporation), Jack has had the honour and privilege of building many exceptional quality custom homes for several discerning clients. He has built his outstanding reputation based on trust and an enduring dedication to producing some of the best constructed homes in the Barrie/Orillia area. He continues to offer framing as a key component of his services and will also provide finish trim carpentry, stairs and siding along with start to finish homes and accessory buildings.
Several clients have come to us with a desire to renovate or add on to their current home because they love their location but their home doesn’t fit their needs as well as it did at the time of purchase. J.W. Andrews Contracting Ltd. has been very successful in creating beautiful spaces while providing outstanding workmanship to better reflect our client’s current lifestyle.
Jack’s wife of 29 years, Gayle, recently (2012) graduated from Georgian College’s 3 year Architectural Technology program and has completed BCIN requirements to provide design services for the buildings J.W. Andrews Contracting Ltd. constructs. Together, they would be pleased to design and construct your dream home - on time and on budget.
